I would like to express my appreciation to everyone who voted for Amanda’s Little Red Shoes.

It has been special to me since its first bloom.

I named it for my oldest niece Amanda due to her precociousness when she was a young child.

The “Little” part of the name has confused many people who assume it is a small flower when it is actually a 6 inch flower.

I am pleased that so many other daylily lovers recognized it as worthy enough to earn such an honor.
