2009 Georgia Daylily Hybridizer Of The Year!
Posted by Jared on December 18th, 2009I would like to express my appreciation to everyone who voted for Amanda’s Little Red Shoes.
It has been special to me since its first bloom.
I named it for my oldest niece Amanda due to her precociousness when she was a young child.
The “Little” part of the name has confused many people who assume it is a small flower when it is actually a 6 inch flower.
I am pleased that so many other daylily lovers recognized it as worthy enough to earn such an honor.
